Build Your Very Own Microscope
Get creative and learn about the inspiring Dr. Hildrus Poindexter, a bacteriologist from Tennesse, who was the first African American to receive both an MD and PhD.
1 - Gather a cup, plastic wrap, rubber band, scissors, water, and some random objects.
2 - Build your very own microscope to study microscopic organisms like Dr. Poindexter!
3 - Place an object in your cup. Cover the cup with the plastic wrap. Add a small pool of water on the plastic wrap. See your object up close!
