Design and Fabrication Workshop: Laser Cutter

DESCRIPTION: For maker kids who seek to get their hands dirty and build something new! This week we’ll build with the laser cutter! Based on their level of design expertise, participants will be invited to learn fundamentals in 2D and 3D design, plan and build their projects using GIANT laser cutter.

Recommended for ages 5-12

LEARN ABOUT

  • 2D and 3D Design fundamentals

  • Design and prototyping process (plan, build, play, test, repeat)

  • Work with laser cutter

WORKSHOP LENGTH: 1.5 hour + complementary access to open studio until 6pm
