Turn clay into characters, animals, scenery or ... Join this workshop to learn how to make a claymation animation and bring things from your imagination to life. This workshop is a blend of art, storytelling and design.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Arielle is a Brooklyn based creative technologist and artist who has a background in communication design, interactive design, and physical computing from Parsons School of Design. She is completing her BFA in Design and Technology with a concentration in Creative Technologies, and a double minor in Data Visualization and Gender Studies. She is particularly interested in the process of bringing kids’ ideas to life through digital fabrication, such as 3D printing and laser cutting.

MATERIAL NEEDED: A device to take photos, modeling clay or playdoh.

You may make your own at home using water, vegetable oil, flour, cups table salt, measuring cups and spoons, paint if you want to bake your creation and paint it later OR food coloring

PRICE: $20/session OR $75 for 5 sessions (you’ll save $5/session with purchase of a package)
