Animal Science: Setting up a Dinosaur Museum

DESCRIPTION: Turn your room into a dino museum! We’ll take virtual field trips to the museum of natural history and learn about dinosaurs. We'll then use recycled material, arts, and crafts to build our own dinosaur models and set up a museum! We share and welcome others to visit our dino museum! This workshop is a wonderful blend of science, craft, and creativity.

Recommended for ages 4-8

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Jess Mezei is a co-founder of The GIANT Room. She has completed her PhD in Science Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. A former teacher and informal educator, from camps to classrooms, she brings curiosity and care to set the stage for learning. Jess has a passion for play and believe that creativity takes courage and mistakes are portals to discovery!

MATERIAL NEEDED: Recycled material, paper, markers, tape, and scissor
