DESCRIPTION: Create your own warm up buddy to keep your hands or feet warm this winter. Learn sewing techniques for creating a mini plush buddy to fill with a heat source. Use simple kitchen materials to create your heating device and put inside your warm up buddy. Hold onto your buddy or put in your socks and let it keep you warm.

Recommended for ages 5-9

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Alex Briñas is a designer on a mission to empower kids from different backgrounds to make together, grow together, and stand tall with creative confidence. With a background in Product Design studies from Stanford and a deep care for innovative education, Alex has had a hodge-podge of a journey so far: from crowdfunding a kids’ drawing tool to working at a leadership-focused high school in Japan to doing UI/UX and graphic design for a media company.

MATERIAL NEEDED: Recycled material, rice, paper, markers, scissor, tape, glue, arts and crafts material

PRICE: $20/session OR $75 for 5 sessions (you’ll save $5/session with purchase of a package)
