DESCRIPTION: Grab your LEGO sets and use your appetite to inspire food dishes made of blocks. Learn different techniques to create beautiful "edible" looking pieces. You can even try to fool your friends with the tasty treats you build! This workshop is a blend of creativity, design and engineering.

Recommended for ages 5 to 10

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Reid is a maker educator with a passion for creating hands-on experiences that combine high and low tech. He was the Director of the Creative Lab at OliOli, the first hands-on children’s museum in Dubai. He had been with the museum since it opened in 2017 and worked on (Probably) The World's Largest Paper Marble Run with hundreds of students. He comes from a tech-art background creating interactive LED installations, pirate radio stations, and rainbow photo booths.
