Stop Motion Animation: Colors and Rainbows

DESCRIPTION: Get playful with all the colors of the rainbow. Use stop motion animation techniques to create your own original colorful story. Will you grow a rainbow, mix colors to make new colors, use only your favorite color to tell a story. Up to you to make colorful creations in this workshop, be inspired by others and share your work.

Recommended for ages 8-12

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Arielle is a Brooklyn based creative technologist and artist who has a background in communication design, interactive design, and physical computing from Parsons School of Design. She is completing her BFA in Design and Technology with a concentration in Creative Technologies, and a double minor in Data Visualization and Gender Studies. She is particularly interested in the process of bringing kids’ ideas to life through digital fabrication, such as 3D printing and laser cutting.

MATERIAL NEEDED: Something to take pictures with (your computer, iPad, camera), paper, and markers

PRICE: $20/session OR $75 for 5 sessions (you’ll save $5/session with purchase of a package)
