Drawing and Coding Geometry Patterns (3/4)

codelasercut (1).gif

DESCRIPTION: Inspired by Sol LeWitt, we use lines, geometric solids, ratio, patterns, formulas, and permutations to create drawings. We'll then challenge ourselves to code a "turtle bot" to draw based on our rules in a program called Turtle Sticth. Participants will also be introduced to fabrication techniques they could use to bring their designs to life with an embroiderry machine or laser cut. This workshop is a wonderful blend of art, math, coding, and design. You may join all workshops in this series (every day of this week 4 to 5pm), or few selected ones based on your schedule and interest.

Recommended for ages 8-12
