DESCRIPTION: Bring your imagination to life in this product design camp. Whether designing your own toys, gadgets, jewelry, and sidekicks, or building your 3D printed city, this camp will equip campers with design thinking process and the fundamental understanding and experience with the software and hardware for custom 3D printing, fabricating, and making. Campers will spend the week designing products for different users, use a CAD (computer-aided design) software program called Tinkercad for 3D design, or Adobe for 2D design, or simply sketching their ideas. They will learn how to break down real-world objects into 3D shapes, construct their 3D models in the software, and add fine details for amazing custom designs. Further, they explore the process of fabricating, 3D printing, laser cutting, sewing with machine, working with embroidery machine, heat press, and more. This camp is a dream camp for kids who have big ideas about ways of living!

FULL DAY PLAN:
9am to 11:00am: first STEM project of the day
11 to 11:30 am: Lunch *Campers must come with lunch and snack*
11:30 to 1:00 pm: Participants work on their projects, brainstorm new ideas, and experiment with different STEM tools
1:00 to 3:00pm: second project of the day
