DESCRIPTION: For kids who dare to make a smarter and more interactive world! Participants learn about machine learning, JavaScript, scratch, and design thinking while inventing solutions for the problems they care about. Campers will master scripting in p5.js — an open-source JavaScript library for creative coding that allows them to use programming as an artistic medium. They will learn fundamentals in block-based and text-based coding, and create colorful, dynamic, and engaging visuals for design, architecture, fashion, gaming — anything they can imagine. We'll create together, tackle challenges, come up with solutions, build intelligence using different data sources (text, numbers, voice, sound, and video), code, share, and give feedback to each other. This camp is a wonderful blend of coding, artistic vision, and presentation skills.
