DESCRIPTION: For creative kids who dare to use a variety of coding, design, electronics, and STEM tools to build prototypes of their ideas and remix their creations into one-of-a-kind published storybooks and stop motion animations. Each session, we’ll work on a STEM prompt inspired by the latest innovations and discoveries in the world. Students will learn a variety of brainstorming techniques to ideate their own solutions and creations in response to the daily prompt. They will then learn coding, design, and STEM skills to build prototypes of their ideas. Finally, they will learn prompt engineering skills to “remix” their creations into storybooks, animations, posters, and more. Prompts, tools, and skills to be learned will be age-appropriate and chosen based on participating students’ interests.
