DESCRIPTION: Immerse yourself in digital worlds that you create! Turn The GIANT Room into an underwater garden, a dance party, a chocolate factory or something else! Participants bring imaginary worlds to life through Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Tinkercad, CoSpaces (for VR and AR), p5.js, and more. We'll cover the fundamentals in coding, editing photos, designing graphics and 3D modeling techniques while working with the coding language and tools that are compatible with their level of expertise. They will also go through the entire design process unique to The GIANT Room model and applicable to future school assignments and personal explorations.
Kids will be picked up at dismissal time. From 3 to 3:30 they will engage in free play/making time while waiting for all of the participants to arrive.
Recommended for ages 7-12
We provide complimentary pick up from PS 11, PS 33, PS 41, PS 340, Avenues, and Corlears for those who register for the whole semester.
