DESCRIPTION: For kids who love to play strategy games and chess!
Participants will be introduced to classic and strategy games designed to promote mathematical, strategic, and spatial thinking, working memory, and memory organization. Throughout the semester, our gamers will practice good sportsmanship while having fun playing cooperative and competitive games.
In addition to playing chess, board games, and strategy games, participants will fabricate their own game sets inspired by classic designers. Nothing makes a chess player happier than a custom designed and printed 3D chess set or a custom laser cut board games.
This program is a great blend of strategy thinking, playing, designing, and fabricating.
Recommended for ages 7-10
