DESCRIPTION: For intrepid kids looking to explore! What do tigers, elephants, cobras and ants have in common? They all call the jungle home! Jungles contain a bewildering diversity of life that is all uniquely linked in a delicate ecosystem. Come for a wild adventure as we journey into jungles and rainforests around the globe and explore animals, trees, weather, deforestation and the balance we need to help protect! Learn about science, making/ fabrication, and storytelling/activism.
Kids will be picked up at dismissal time. From 3 to 3:30 they will engage in free play/making time while waiting for all of the participants to arrive.
Recommended for ages 5-8
We provide complimentary pick up from PS 11, PS 33, PS 41, PS 340, Avenues, and Corlears for those who register for the whole semester.
FORMAT: In Person at GIANT Flatiron Hub (26 West 23rd Street, 4th floor)
DATES: Fridays at 3:00-5:30pm, from Jan. 6th to Mar. 31st (Skipping 2/24 for public school holiday)
