DESCRIPTION: For kids who dare to be kinder to our planet! In this series campers become engineers, scientist, makers, and artists. They will explore and build sustainable sources of power, tinker solutions to help almost extinct animals to continue living, replace plastic with natural materials like mushrooms and build things with them, build robots to clean oceans, and plant seeds in seed balls made out of recycled paper, pay close attention to the science behind soil, use and reuse their resources! From growing mushrooms to building cool products with them to lighting things up with sustainable energy, cleaning ocean with smart robots, and planting seeds in paper balls and soil at the right PH level, participants will be invited to pay closer attention to our planet earth and build a better future for it.

Recommended for ages 6- 10

CAMP FORMAT: Online

CAMP DATES: Week of July 12th

CAMP DAILY PLAN:

  • One hour live workshop, every day of the week (M-F) 10am to 11am

  • One hour live workshop, every day of the week (M-F) 1pm to 2pm

  • Additional asynchronous suggested activities and challenges to work on while offline

LEARN ABOUT

  • Sustainable sources of energy

  • Coding and building gadgets to clean the environment

  • Planting and growing mushrooms

PRICE: $250/Week + $350 Material fee (Including Microbit, Mushroom kit, solar cell, ph paper, soil, seed, custom made models)
