DESCRIPTION: Today we’ll be a …. chef, baker, astronaut, doctor, zookeeper, dentist, artist, paleontologist, farmer, puppeteer, or maybe even a marine scientist! Participants wear a different hat every week, make, and play together. Not only will they learn craft and making techniques to set up their own cafe, bakery, doctor’s office, spaceship, or a field in the search of dinosaur bones, but they will also explore early math, science, literacy, and social sciences, AND they will engage in joyful role play in every workshop. We’ll be using carefully designed and curated arts and crafts materials, wooden models, and tools developmentally appropriate for younger kids, designed and made at The GIANT Room.
Kids will be picked up at dismissal time. From 3 to 3:30 they will engage in free play/making time while waiting for all of the participants to arrive.
