DESCRIPTION: For kids who dare to dream and build new things! Think like a pilot, engineer, or even a bug! Participants learn prototyping techniques to tackle age-appropriate challenges, work collaboratively, and think creatively. They use fabricated tools, recycled material, arts and crafts, and turn them into unexpected inventions! From self portraits to pulleys, speed boats, vacuum cleaners, dragons, unicorns and everything in between, participants will also build and dream with Rigamajig, Spinning Tops, LEGO, Clixo, and Strawbees.
Participants ideate together, learn new techniques, build, share, and give feedback to each other. GIANT instructors are there to teach, guide, and challenge them to take their inventions one step further.
Kids will be picked up at dismissal time. From 3 to 3:30 they will engage in free play/making time while waiting for all of the participants to arrive.
