DESCRIPTION: Join us to build epic puzzles, games and challenge others to solve them, while traveling to the most incredible places around the world! Play all sorts of puzzle games and decide how to use elements for your own. Create your own mazes, logic puzzles, riddles and sequence all sorts into designing your own escape rooms and games for others to solve. Participants will also explore game genres, like spinner games and games of chance, timers and timed games, mazes and pac-man style games. Then, pack your DIY suitcase and travel to Japan, build zen gardens, cook sushi and noodles, go to fishing, fabricate kimonos, and indulge in Japan’s pop culture and dragons! We’ll go to Hawaii and explore volcanos, make our own volcanos with alka seltzer (science meets travel dreams!), dream of a beach and build light houses! Get ready to explore the deserts in South America, Europe and its landmarks, North America and it’s fun bridges, amusement parks, and ski resorts, Africa and its exotic nature, Mexico and its rich culture and food, Egypt and its pyramids! We’ll explore it all as we travel around the globe, learn about countries, their capitals, currency, culture and languages they speak, build things, and showcase them to our fellow campers! This program is a wonderful blend of geography, culture, making, game design, math, technology and storytelling.
Recommended for ages 5-8 (Kindergarten to 2nd graders)
