DESCRIPTION:

Bring your animal inspirations to life in this 3D modeling workshop. Need a friend to keep you company? or perhaps a model of your pet? Learn techniques to make creatures digitally that you can even print and collect. Will you bring to life an exotic tiger or maybe a bird in flight, or perhaps a spirit animal? Choose whatever animal or bunch of animals inspire you most.

Recommended for ages 8 to 12

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Arielle is a Brooklyn based creative technologist and artist who has a background in communication design, interactive design, and physical computing from Parsons School of Design. She is completing her BFA in Design and Technology with a concentration in Creative Technologies, and a double minor in Data Visualization and Gender Studies. She is particularly interested in the process of bringing kids’ ideas to life through digital fabrication, such as 3D printing and laser cutting.

MATERIAL NEEDED: Tinkercad software (available free online)

PRICE: $20/session OR $75 for 5 sessions (you’ll save $5/session with purchase of a package)
