DESCRIPTION: Let’s make someone laugh. Join this workshop to put jokes and funny stories on paper by learning how to construct your own comic. Grab your markers, papers and scissors to create your own characters and draw them into a story that will get some giggles!

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Nancy Chavarria is an artist, photographer, and graphic designer based in Brooklyn, New York. She received her BFA from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science in Art in 2017. She uses her knowledge of art, graphic design, and photography to nurture creativity and inspire kids to create whatever they set their minds to through art.
