DESCRIPTION: Fingers like to dance too! Let's dress up our fingers in all sorts of attire and roles and when the music starts lets see their dance moves! Learn different paper techniques for creating finger puppets that use one finger or multiple fingers, also learn paper folding to create some extra special critters to move and groove with.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Jackie Traish is a 2020 graduate from the Mannes School of Music (MM and PDPL in Orchestral Studies) and a 2014 graduate from East Carolina University (BM in Music Performance and BS in Science Education). She currently lives in New York City as a freelance musician, teaching artist, and arts administrator. She has performed with the Mannes Orchestra and the Mannes American Composers Ensemble in venues such as Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and New York City Center, and has performed with world-renowned programs and ensembles including the Martha Graham Dance Company, the Metropolitan Opera, and the Brooklyn Youth Chorus. Her years of experience as an educator ranges across all ages and levels, in both music and science, through her work in different educational organizations and public schools across NYC and North Carolina.
