DESCRIPTION: For curious kids who dare to get up close with fungus! Join us for a magical exploration of the world of fungi! Neither plant nor animal these simple yet very special living organisms give us a lot to be thankful for. From farming, to medicine, to bioplastics, habitat regeneration and some of our favorite foods like bread + cheese! Come join the fun as we learn about these incredible creatures. A wonderful mix of science, making (or design), and engineering.

PROGRAM FORMAT: In Person at GIANT Chelsea Hub
DATES: Week of June 27th
FULL DAY PLAN:
9am to 11:00am: first STEM project of the day
11 to 11:30 am: Lunch *Campers must come with lunch and snack*
11:30 to 1:00 pm: Participants work on their projects, brainstorm new ideas, and experiment with different STEM tools
1:00 to 3:00pm: second project of the day
+ optional early drop in or late pick up (+$25/hour)
