DESCRIPTION: Participants will dream new ideas, build them with LEGO, and create stop motion animation shorts! Every day we’ll learn new construction techniques, explore best practices and common mistakes, think about new possibilities, brainstorm ideas, and build new models with LEGO. We’ll then learn stop motion animation practices and bring our LEGO models to life through short animation clips. This program is a wonderful blend of ideation, tactile construction, and digital animation art.
Depending on the kid’s interests, we may also explore microcontrollers and color sensors to make our own version of Super Mario with Microbit.
