DESCRIPTION: For kids who love to play and dare to script their own games! Campers will play and analyze different game genres in Roblox, design their own characters, game worlds, and game mechanics, and learn how to scrip them in Roblox Studio. They will also learn 3D design and modeling in Tinkercad, animation in Roblox animation studio, and 2D design in a design software as they dress their characters. The Roblox game engine uses the Lua programming language, which is text based, simple to learn and to use, powerful and widely used. This camp is a wonderful blend of game play, socializing, game design, and scripting.
