Nighttime Expedition: Stargazing & Light Design

DESCRIPTION: Interested in patterns in the night sky? Come stargazing with us, find inspiration and create your own lamp based on your experience. Design your own pattern maybe based on constellations or planets you happen to see. Learn different paper engineering, electronics and design skills in this illuminating workshop!

Recommended for ages 5-9

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Alex Briñas is a creative on a mission to empower kids from different backgrounds to make together, grow together, and stand tall with creative confidence. With Product Design studies from Stanford and a love for innovative education, Alex has had a mixed journey so far: from crowdfunding a kids' drawing tool to working at a leadership-focused high school in Japan.

MATERIAL NEEDED: Recycled material, arts and crafts, scissor, tape
