You are invited to join a series of two professional learning workshops led by Joan Ganz Cooney Center from Sesame Workshop and The GIANT Room, focused on AI literacy in elementary schools. We will discuss a model that maps AI literacy to computational thinking standards and share strategies to integrate AI in science and literacy curriculum, providing opportunities for students to publish their own scientific learnings in books they can share with their family. All elementary teachers from District 24 in New York City are invited to join. Attendees will gain a basic understanding of how AI works and how to use AI tools with students in science and literacy curricula, and will have access to free turn-key lessons they can readily use in their classrooms. All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance.
